First, thanks to everyone who came down for the demo on Monday morning, and to everyone who’s been in the gallery during the week, it’s been good to have a few friendly faces around.

In sum, it’s half time. All the Prosecution evidence has been heard, and the judge will decide by Monday on the case so far:
- If the judge believe the Prosecution has not established the basic legality of the Section 12 order, we will find out on Monday that the trial won’t continue, and we’ve won.
- If the judge thinks the Section 12 order could have been legal, the trial will continue. However, the judge may decide that on the facts of individual cases some people don’t have enough evidence against them to allow a chance of conviction, and they will be aquitted on Monday with the case continuing for everyone else.
If the trial continues, the Defence will present evidence, with some of the CM9 defendents testifying on Monday and Tuesday. Then a pause in the trial until 13-15 March, when Defence witnesses who aren’t the CM9 defendants will testify, and the case will get concluded.
At that point again, after all Defence evidence, the judge can find either that the order was unlawful, in which case all CM9 defendent win, or that the order was lawful. In the latter case, individual cases will come down to the facts relating to individuals.
